Raymond Richards

Raymond Richards is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the BBN Chief Technology Officer at RTX since September 2025. Prior to this role, Raymond held the Chief Technology Officer position at RTX BBN for a brief period and served as Vice President of the Information and Data Sciences Division and Enterprise S&T Director at Leidos from January 2024 to September 2025. With a strong background in software leadership, Raymond was the Director of Software at Dynetics, Inc. from November 2021 to January 2024 and spent nearly six years as a Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Raymond's career at Rockwell Collins spanned from July 1999 to January 2016, where expertise included roles as Principal Technologist and Principal Engineering Manager. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Software Engineer at IBM. Raymond earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa, completing studies from 1982 to 1997.
