Supraj Prakash

Supraj Prakash is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion and research roles. Currently serving as a Principal Research Engineer at RTX since April 2025, Prakash previously held the position of Principal Propulsion Engineer at Pratt & Whitney from September 2022 to April 2025, after serving as a Senior Propulsion Engineer. Academic experience includes a Graduate Student Research Assistant role at the University of Michigan's Rackham Graduate School under Prof. Venkat Raman from September 2017 to October 2022. Initial industry experience includes multiple positions at Boeing, focusing on the Space Launch System (SLS) and flight test requirements, as well as a role as a Remote Sensing Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
