Michael Gacek

Michael Gacek, CFA, CAIA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Trader at Ruane Cunniff LP since October 2021. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at PIMCO as a Global Equity Trader from August 2015 to September 2021, and at Mellon Capital as an Associate Equity Portfolio Manager from July 2013 to August 2015. Michael's earlier experience includes working as a Quantitative Risk Analyst and Fund Accountant at SS&C Technologies from November 2011 to June 2013, as well as a Sales & Trading Intern at BTIG in June 2010. Michael holds an MBA in Asset Management from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Central Connecticut State University, along with a Graduate Course in Digital Transformation from IE Business School.
