Dr. Pramod Kumar Das

Dr. Pramod Kumar Das is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in hydrometallurgy and mineral processing. Currently serving as General Manager-Technical at Rubamin SARL (DRC-Africa) since October 2022, Dr. Das previously held the position of Chief Executive Advisor-Technology to the Chairman & Board at Vinmart Group of Companies, where leadership was provided for significant cobalt, copper, and tin projects. Prior to that, Dr. Das was Unit Head at Vedanta Resources Limited, overseeing the Central Research & Development Laboratory. Other significant roles include Head of Quality & Environment Lab Services at Hindalco Industries Ltd, General Manager-Process at Shalina Resources, and General Manager-Technical at Somika Group SARL. Education credentials include a PhD in Hydrometallurgy from the Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, along with postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in chemistry from Utkal University.
