Carolyn Sargent is the EVP at Rubenstein. Carolyn has over 19 years of experience in the communications field.

Carolyn started their career as an Associate Analyst at UBS (Paine Webber) in 1999. In 2000, they moved to Institutional Investor magazine as a Senior Editor. Carolyn was there until 2001 when they joined Absolute Return as Deputy Editor. Carolyn stayed with Absolute Return until 2009 when they joined Rubenstein.

At Rubenstein, Carolyn has been instrumental in developing and executing communications strategies for some of the world’s most prominent investors, entrepreneurs and companies.

Carolyn Sargent holds an AB from Smith College in English literature and French studies, an MBA from Columbia Business School in finance, and an MS from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in journalism. Carolyn is also certified by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Series 7 and Series 63.

Carolyn Sargent reports to Steven Rubenstein, President. They are on a team with Amy Jacobs - Managing Director, Rick Matthews - Managing Director, and Bryce Tom - Managing Director & Head of West Coast.
