Jenna Eason

Jenna Eason has a diverse background in various industries. Jenna started their professional career as an intern at Patsy Aiken Designs in 2006. Jenna then served as a research assistant and weaving lab manager at NC State University College of Textiles, where they worked on projects related to trend forecasting, market research, and new product development in the automotive textile industry. Jenna also managed the Fibers Lab and was a member of the Design Committee at the College of Design.

In 2008, they joined Joe Harmon Design as a project assistant, where they developed prototypes using cellulosic materials and contributed to the construction of the Splinter car and trailer for the International Woodworking Fair.

Jenna's experience in the textile industry continued with roles at Vescom B.V., Polartec, LLC, and Sage Automotive Interiors. At Vescom B.V., they worked as a product designer. At Polartec, they served as a new product development engineer, focusing on technical design, color development, and trend forecasting. And at Sage Automotive Interiors, they led a cross-functional team as a segment leader and product designer, managing strategic partnerships and overseeing technical trials.

In 2016, Jenna joined Eastman Chemical Company, where they held roles as an advanced development scientist and senior development scientist. Jenna's most recent role is as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Rubi Laboratories since 2023. Jenna Eason's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled in North Carolina State University. Jenna completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Technology in 2007, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Design from the same institution. Jenna then pursued a Master of Science degree in Textile Technology & Management at North Carolina State University, which they obtained in 2009.

In 2008, Jenna also attended Nagoya University, where they studied Automotive Engineering. However, it is unclear when their studies at Nagoya University concluded.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jenna obtained their certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher from Yoga Alliance in November 2017.
