Julio Antequera Galiano

Julio Antequera Galiano has a long and varied work experience. Julio began their career in 2008 as an Internship as Web Developer and IT Consultant for Inix Consultores. Julio then worked as a Software Developer for Universidad de Sevilla in 2009, and as a Software Engineer for AERTEC in 2010. From 2011 to 2013 they worked as a Web Developer and Systems Administrator for Wombytes, and also as a Freelance Ruby on Rails Developer, Freelance Ruby on Rails Developer and SysOps, and Freelance Fullstack Ruby on Rails Developer for Self Employed, Salumedia, and Emergya, respectively. In 2014 they began working for CookiesHQ as a Ruby on Rails Developer. In 2016 they were hired by RubiconMD as a Backend Engineer, and was promoted to Senior Backend Engineer in June 2017, Lead Backend Engineer in November 2018, and Principal Engineer in December 2019.

Julio Antequera Galiano obtained a degree in Ingeniería Informática from Universidad de Sevilla between 2002 and 2009, with a field of study in software and systems engineering, artificial intelligence, and computer science. In addition, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Music Production from Coursera in April 2013.
