Monika Mascitti

Monika Mascitti is the VP of People at RubiconOrganics. Monika has over 13 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment.

Monika started their career at Starbucks Coffee Canada in March 2005 as a Recruitment Manager. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of 7 recruiters, developing and executing annual HR plans and strategies, and consulting with hiring managers on recruitment initiatives and process. Monika was also responsible for national recruitment strategies, forecasts & hires, total budget spend/ROI, metrics reporting, analysis.

In September 2013, Monika left Starbucks to join BuildDirect as their Director, People. In this role, they led the People team and was responsible for recruitment for various teams including Tech, PM, Analytics, India Dev office, Seller Services, Operations, Executive. Monika also supported the India Dev office and developed talent strategy for high growth.

In August 2018, Monika left BuildDirect to join RubiconOrganics as their Director of People.

Monika Mascitti has a field in Human Resources Management and they attended school at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

They work with Benoit Pinsonneault - VP, Sales, Mark Holman - Director, Engineering & Operations, and Janis Risbin - VP, Finance. Monika Mascitti reports to Jesse McConnell, Co-Founder, CEO & Director.
