Christiaan Avonda has extensive experience in the food industry, primarily working in sales and business development roles. Christiaan is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Rubix Foods since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Darifair Foods, Inc. as the Vice President of Industrial Sales from March 2013 to June 2020. Christiaan also held the position of Vice President of Sales and Research & Development at Diversified Foods & Seasonings, Inc. from August 2012 to March 2013. Before that, they were the Executive Director of Business Development and Industrial Sales at Darifair Foods from 2004 to 2012. Christiaan'scareer started at Kerry Ingredients, where they served as a National Account Manager from 2000 to 2004 and as a Corporate Executive Chef from 1996 to 2000.
Christiaan Avonda pursued their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Nicholls State University from 1988 to 1992. Christiaan later attended The Culinary Institute of America for three years, from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Culinary Arts.
