Prateek Pandey

Prateek Pandey is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience in the software engineering domain, currently serving as Technical Director at Rubrik since July 2014. Prateek has held various pivotal roles at Rubrik, including Principal Engineer & Manager, where a SaaS Data Protection & Security team was built from the ground up, and Principal Engineer, responsible for architecting Rubrik's cloud data engine, Colossus. Previous positions include founding the Cloud Native Workload protection team and contributing critically to core infrastructures as a Senior and Software Engineer. Prior experience includes a Software Developer role at Amazon, focusing on scalable systems for a high-volume backend team, a Teaching Assistant position at IIIT Hyderabad, and an internship at IBM India Software Labs. Prateek holds a B.Tech with Honors in Computer Vision, Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad.
