Dag Lorås

Dag Lorås has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Dag is currently the Head of Development at Rubrikk Group AS, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Circle K Europe for five years, serving as the Director of IT Strategy and Architecture. In this role, they were responsible for application portfolio, enterprise architecture, and providing strategic technical advice for digital transformation initiatives. Dag also oversaw IT security and compliance, including information security, security awareness, card security, and IT compliance.

Before joining Circle K Europe, Dag Lorås held the position of Høgskolelektor/Assistant Professor at Gjøvik University College for two years. Dag also worked as a Development Manager at Computas AS for one year, where they managed development projects. Earlier in their career, from 2004 to 2013, they worked at Visma Software, initially as a Competence Manager and later as the International Development Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for the operations and development of Visma Software's Software as a Service (SAAS)/Cloud Service offering.

Between 2000 and 2004, Dag Lorås worked as an Overingeniør at Computas and as an IT Architect at Scandinavian Airlines Data AS from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they were a Consultant at Computas AS from 1994 to 1999. Their professional journey began in 1989 when they served as a Development Manager at Nordic Offshore Systems A.S. and as a Lecturer at NITH.

Dag Lorås completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1983 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Advanced Information Technology from Imperial College London between 1986 and 1987. Later, they attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a degree in Business Economics, specializing in Finance.
