Pavan Kambam

Pavan Kambam is a seasoned professional in the field of bioprocessing and biotechnology, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Ruby Bio since July 2022 and as a part-time lecturer at San Jose State University since August 2018. With extensive experience in various leadership roles, Pavan has worked at prominent companies such as Eat Just, Inc. and Clara Foods, managing process development, scale-up, and manufacturing of cell culture-based technologies. Pavan has also held positions at Kiverdi, Inc., Cobalt Technologies, Berkeley Lab, and Qteros, Inc., focusing on fermentation process development and bioconversion platforms. Pavan holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MBA from Isenberg School of Management, and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
