Camila Orozco Muñoz

Camila Orozco Muñoz has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. Camila is currently serving as the Head of Studio for Ruca Costa Rica since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a UX/UI Consultant for Gorilla Logic from February 2019 to July 2020. Camila also served as the Design Team Lead for MobtionBusiness from July 2017 to February 2019, where they specialized in mobile banking apps and conducted research and testing to improve existing platforms.

Before joining MobtionBusiness, Camila worked as a Freelance UX/UI Designer from February 2016 to May 2017. During that time, they specialized in user testing and interface design, working with clients such as TSE, NIC CR, CRIX, TEC, and more. Earlier in their career, they served as a UI/UX Designer for the Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones from February 2016 to May 2017, where they led the voting app project and was responsible for user research, information architecture, navigation, and design.

In 2015, Camila worked as a UI/UX Designer for Huli, where they focused on pediatric Electronic Health Record (EHR) user research and implementation. Camila was in charge of usability testing and implementation guidelines during their tenure at Huli.

Camila Orozco Muñoz completed their education at three institutions. Firstly, they attended the Tecnológico de Costa Rica from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design. Camila'sfield of study was focused on Industrial Design. Following this, they pursued an exchange program at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd in 2014-2015, specializing in Interface Design. Lastly, they returned to the Tecnológico de Costa Rica from 2015 to 2017 to pursue a Licenciatura degree in Industrial Design with an emphasis on Visual Communication.
