Lauren Palgon has worked in the media industry since 2017. In that time, they have held various roles, including Student Worker at Field Equipment and Storage Room at Grady, Intern at Third Rail Studios - ATL, Social Media & Digital Comms Intern at Turner, Social Media Strategist at WarnerMedia, and Senior Social Media Strategist at Ruckus Marketing. During their time at WarnerMedia, they connected 30+ Social Teams to foster connections and support synergy activations across 1,500+ accounts with a 2.6B+ fan footprint, organized and recorded meeting minutes in multiple recurring monthly meetings for the 30+ Social Team members, wrote 100+ pieces of copy and managed internal social media communications for DC FanDome marketing campaign, strategized, reported, and assisted in orchestration for a "Godzilla vs. Kong" themed bracket battle across 16 social teams, reported on domestic Social Team support for the HBO Max LATAM product launch, ensured new Social team members had access to communication systems, ideated, wrote, and proofread for weekly newsletter, and ideated and wrote articles for quarterly magazine on best practices and case studies. At Turner, they wrote and edited copy for blog and social media posts, conceptualized creative social media content for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, tracked and analyzed social media analytics data weekly to use in monthly and quarterly reports, managed daily digital content on homepages of Turner.com and WarnerMediaGroup.com, and consistently updated a brand key dates calendar with programming, big events, and other important dates.
Lauren Palgon obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia between 2014 and 2018, with a field of study in Entertainment and Media Studies. Lauren also obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences between 2014 and 2018, with a field of study in Theatre/Theater. In 2016, they attended La Trobe University for Photography. Palgon attended Dunwoody High School between 2010 and 2014, where they were part of the Mass Communications Academy.
