Megan Richards

Megan Richards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs and energy policy. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs since October 2021 and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States since April 2020, Megan has a robust history with the European Commission, where a distinguished career spanned from September 1991 to June 2019. Key roles included Director of Energy Policy, Principal Advisor for DG CONNECT, and other leadership positions within DG CONNECT and the Joint Research Centre. Megan holds an LLB from the University of Ottawa and an MPA from the University of Victoria, complemented by an EU Fellowship in International Relations from Harvard University.
