After drawing inspiration from the #darkskinredlip challenge and identifying an obvious void in the beauty space, Rufescent was born in 2020. Founder Kristin McIntyre created a brand where women of color would no longer face the challenge of finding the perfect shades of red for their unique skin tone.

Rufescent is comprised of various curated shades of red. Vegan rich, moisturized, heavy pigmented and light-weight liquid mattes.
