Cate Hardy

Cate Hardy has a diverse work experience in various fields. Cate has worked as a Quality Controller at SYNTHOTEC LIMITED from 2010 to 2014. After that, they took a 6-month travel break via the WWOOF scheme, during which they worked as a Holiday Lettings Supervisor at Great Glen Yurts and Craft Cider Maker at Cleeve Orchard. Cate then worked at St Richard's Hospice as a Donations Supervisor from 2015 to 2016. Following this, they were employed as a Shop Manager at Oxfam from 2016 to 2022. In 2022, they worked as a Web Content Developer at Rugged Software from May to October. Then, they participated in Recurse Center from November 2022 to February 2023, where they worked on passion projects, pair programming, technical communication, and improved their JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and CSS skills. Currently, they work as a Web Developer at Rugged Software from February 2023.

Cate Hardy has pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Open University, specializing in English Language and Literature, General during 2011 to 2017. In 2021, Cate completed a Responsive Web Design Certification from freeCodeCamp. In 2021 to 2022, Cate pursued Full Stack Web Development, specializing in JavaScript, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, Express, and REST APIs from Zero To Mastery Academy.
