Aylin Imeri

Aylin Imeri (Ilhan) currently serves as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in the Abteilung für Allgemeinmedizin at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, beginning in July 2023. Previously, Aylin held the position of Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoktorand) at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf from 2014 to July 2023, where responsibilities included teaching courses on scientific writing, statistical evaluation using IBM SPSS, and user behavior on social media, as well as supervising bachelor and master theses on topics related to activity trackers and health information behavior. Aylin completed a Ph.D. in Information Science (2016-2020) and holds both a Master of Arts in Information Science and Language Technology (2014-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in German Philology (2011-2015) and Information Science and Language Technology (2011-2014) from the University of Düsseldorf. Research interests focus on activity and fitness trackers.
