Dr. Andrej Dvornik

Dr. Andrej Dvornik is a postdoctoral researcher at Ruhr University Bochum since October 2019, specializing in the engineering of scalable Python and Bash pipelines for managing and processing extensive multidimensional datasets in astronomical research. Dr. Dvornik developed a widely-cited cosmological modeling tool that incorporates advanced computational techniques, contributing significantly to scientific literature. Previously, from September 2015 to August 2019, Dr. Dvornik served as a PhD researcher at Leiden Observatory, where complex astronomical image data was processed and analyzed using custom pipelines and distributed computing infrastructure. Dr. Dvornik holds a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics, as well as a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in related fields, all from esteemed institutions including Leiden University and the University of Ljubljana.
