Tarik Taleb

Tarik Taleb currently serves as Chair Professor of Networked Energy-Efficient Systems at Ruhr University Bochum since January 2024. Taleb is the Board Chair and Founder of ICTFICIAL Oy, a position held since April 2020. Taleb also directs the MOSA!C Lab at the University of Oulu, which focuses on mobile networking and cloud computing. Previously, Taleb held professorships at the University of Oulu and Aalto University, and worked as a Senior Researcher at NEC Laboratories Europe, where responsibilities included leading R&D projects related to mobile cloud networking. Taleb's academic career began with assistant professorships at Tohoku University, alongside earlier roles in network security and resource management. Taleb's educational background includes a PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's degree, all in Information Sciences from Tohoku University.
