Alibek Bekenov has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Alibek started their career as a Merchandiser at SUT LLP in 2007. In 2008, they joined LLP "Micro Wireless" as a Telecom Engineer, where they were involved in the expansion of 2G network, construction of 3G network, and WIMAX. Alibek gained valuable skills in planning microwave transmission networks, managing warehouses, and reporting radio and transmission survey data.
In 2014, Alibek joined Huawei, a global ICT company. Alibek worked as a Telecom Engineer, Project Manager, and gained experience in various facets of telecommunications and technology. Alibek participated in both national and international projects, including the country's first 4G network project and a foreign project in Georgia involving 4.5G (LTE-Advanced) Network. Alibek learned how to launch base stations, optimize traffic and mobility, balance radio bands, and analyze network performance.
In 2021, Alibek joined the University of Maryland as an Energy Auditor, contributing to an energy audit project managed by the Maryland Department of General Services. Their role included supporting Governor Hogan's Executive Order on energy sustainability.
Currently, Alibek is working as a Project Coordinator at Rullex, starting in 2023.
Alibek Bekenov began their education in 2003 at L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Alibek studied at the university from 2003 to 2007. In 2021, Bekenov continued their education at the University of Maryland, pursuing a Master's degree in Project Management. Alibek is expected to complete their degree in 2022.
