Brendan Sheehan

Brendan Sheehan is a licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor with extensive experience in addiction treatment and mental health services. Currently employed at Numa Psychotherapy and Rum River Counseling Inc. since September 2024 and January 2022 respectively, Brendan has previously held positions at NUWAY and Hazelden Foundation, where responsibilities included managing patient caseloads, conducting group therapy, and participating in interdisciplinary team efforts. Education includes a Master of Arts in Advanced Practice, Addiction Studies, and a Master's degree in Addiction Studies from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Saint John's University. Prior to entering the mental health field, Brendan worked in various roles, including assistant manager at Foot Locker and insurance intern at State Farm Insurance.
