Emerson Torres de Amorim

Emerson Torres de Amorim has extensive experience in the field of software development and systems analysis. Emerson currently holds the position of Head of SRE/DevOps at Rúmina, where they began in December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Rúmina from April 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Rúmina, Emerson worked at AMcom Sistemas de Informação as a Software Developer and Systems Analyst from November 2018 to April 2021. Emerson also had a brief role at T-Systems do Brasil as a Software Developer and Systems Analyst from September 2018 to November 2018.

Emerson's earlier experiences include working as an Analyst and Software Developer at Sabium Sistemas from June 2017 to August 2018, and at TG MAQ from February 2017 to May 2017.

Prior to that, Emerson worked as an Analyst in Systems at Portal de Documentos from November 2015 to August 2016, and as a Middle Programmer at Senac São Paulo from May 2013 to November 2015.

Emerson started their career as a Junior Programmer at Scale Systems from May 2012 to March 2013, and as a Trainee Programmer at Pandata Informática Ltda from January 2012 to April 2012.

Emerson's earliest position was as an Intern Developer at Togtti Web from September 2011 to January 2012.

Throughout their career, Emerson has developed expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including Java, Node.js, Hibernate, JSF, Oracle, Web Services REST, Phantom JS, and Casper JS.

Emerson completed a Tecnólogo em Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas degree at FIAP from 2011 to 2012. Emerson then pursued an Especialização em Engenharia Web at Senac São Paulo from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they obtained a Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informação at FATEC São Caetano do Sul.

In addition to their formal education, Emerson has also obtained several certifications. In March 2016, they became a certified Desenvolvedor Java through Alura Cursos Online. In December 2016, they obtained another certification from Alura Cursos Online, this time as a Desenvolvedor Java Web. In March 2021, they became an AWS Certified Developer - Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS). Most recently, in September 2022, Emerson obtained a certification called "Aprender para liderar" from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
