Burkhard Otto Cordes

Mr. Cordes has been a member of the Board of Directors of Cosan SA since 2005. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (1997), and a postgraduate degree (MBA in finance) from IBMEC, in São Paulo (2001). He has been working in the financial market for seven years and worked at Banco BBM SA, a Mariani Group company, working in the commercial area with a focus on middle market and corporate. He currently holds the position of finance manager. He also worked in the financial area of ​​IBM Brazil. Mr. Cordes has not suffered, in the last five years, any (i) criminal conviction, even if not final; (ii) in an administrative proceeding of the CVM, although not final and unappealable; or (iii) final and unappealable, in the judicial or administrative sphere, that has suspended or disqualified him from the practice of any professional or commercial activity. Mr. Cordes declares that he is not considered a Politically Exposed Person, under the terms of the applicable regulations, since he does not perform, nor has performed, in the last 5 years, in Brazil or in foreign countries, territories and dependencies, positions, jobs or relevant public functions, as well as their representatives, family members and other people in their close relationship.
