Humberto Manrique

Humberto Manrique is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in rail projects, currently serving as the Gerente de Engenharia de Manutenção de Via e Infraestrutura - Operação Norte at Rumo since January 2016. In this role, Humberto oversees the Engineering area for Modernization and CAPEX Projects, focusing on project development, budgeting, contracting, and technological control. Previous roles include Rail Capital Projects Coordinator and Structure and Bridge Project Coordinator, where Humberto managed procurement, planning, and asset management for various railway projects. Humberto's academic credentials include a Master's in Engineering with an emphasis on BIM Management from Universitat de Barcelona and Zigurat Innovation & Technology Business School, as well as an MBA in Project Management from USP and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from EESC-USP. Additional training in railway systems management has also been completed through the Deutsche Bahn Rail Academy.
