Maria Rita De Carvalho Drummond

Maria Rita is currently the Chief Legal Officer of Cosan Limited, graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC, with a postgraduate degree in Civil Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro – UERJ and a Master’s in International Law from the London School of Economics – LSE. She worked at the law firm Barbosa, Mussnich e Aragão, was Manager for Latin America at BAT – British America Tobacco, controller of Souza Cruz SA headquartered in London, Legal Manager of publicly-held companies Cosan SA and Cosan Logística SA and Legal Director of the same companies. She was also appointed by the Brazilian Association of Listed Companies (ABRASCA) to the National Financial System Appeals Council (CRSFN), with a mandate from March 2019 to March 2022.
