Head Swim Instructor at Rumson Country Club

Kyle Clayton began their work experience in 2005 as the Founder and Head Swim Instructor at Clayton Swim School, where they taught swim lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. In 2016, they served as the Head Coach and Swim Instructor at Edgewater Beach and Cabana Club. From 2017 to 2018, they held the position of Assistant Coach, Varsity Girls Soccer, as well as Special Education Math Teacher at Middletown High School South. Kyle then became the Special Education Math Teacher at Thompson Middle School from 2018 to 2020. In 2017, they also became the Head Coach, Varsity Boys Swimming at Middletown High School North, a role that they held until 2022. In 2018, they became the Assistant Coach and Swim Instructor at SEABRIGHT BEACH CLUB. Kyle served as the Head Swim Instructor at Rumson Country Club starting in 2019. In 2020, they joined Marlboro Township Public Schools as an Engineering + Design Teacher. In 2022, they became Head Coach for the Varsity Boys and Girls Swimming teams at Red Bank Catholic High School. Additionally, they founded Trinity Coast Steel Drum Band in 2006, providing entertainment for various events.

Kyle Clayton completed their Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology / Business Leadership at Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2009. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2015, they studied Mathematics / Health and Physical Education at Thomas Edison State University, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In 2018 to 2019, Kyle pursued a Master's Degree in Special Education at Rowan University.

In terms of certifications, Kyle obtained several teaching certificates including a Standard Certificate as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, a Standard Certificate as an Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6, a Standard Certificate as an Elementary School Teacher with Mathematics Specialization (Grades 5-8), a Standard Certificate as a Swimming, and Water Safety Instructor (K-12), and a Standard Certificate as a Teacher of Audio Technology, all from the NJ Department of Education, Office of Fiscal Accountability and Compliance. Kyle also holds a Standard Certificate as a Teacher of Supplemental Instruction: Reading and Mathematics (Grades K-8) and a Certificate of Eligibility as a Teacher of Audio Technology from the same institution.

During their high school years, Kyle attended Shore Regional HS, graduating in 2004. Kyle has also obtained various additional certifications, including a National "E" Coaching License from US Youth Soccer, an "F" Coaching License from New Jersey Youth Soccer, a Substitute Teacher certification from the NJ Department of Education, Office of Fiscal Accountability and Compliance, an SCUBA certification from the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), a High School Soccer Official certification from the National Federation of State High School Associations, a Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification from the American Red Cross, and a First Aid / CPR / AED certification, also from the American Red Cross.
