Jenny Phan

Jenny Phan has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2012. Jenny began as an intern at Neighborhood House, where they worked with immigrant communities, youth, elderly, and individuals with disabilities. In 2017, they interned at the Department Of Neighborhoods, contributing to the Communication Liaison Program by supporting staff with reports and organizing local events.

Jenny then worked as a research assistant at the University of Washington College of Built Environments in 2018. Here, they shadowed a local emergency preparedness group called LEAP and produced a detailed report on the organization's members, goals, and action plan. Jenny also created a stakeholder map and ethnography of the organization and its target neighborhood.

In 2019, Jenny became a cooking instructor at Performance Kitchen, teaching weekly classes to adults and promoting home cooking. Jenny then transitioned to the Seattle Cucina Cooking School in 2020, initially as a Lead Instructor responsible for planning and executing classes for K-12 students. Later, they took on the role of Operations and Relations Director, ensuring the success of the school's operations.

Most recently, Jenny joined Run Studios in 2020 as an Accounting Assistant, and later was promoted to the role of Production Accountant in 2021.

Jenny Phan obtained their Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in the field of Community, Environment, and Planning (CEP) between the years 2014 and 2018.
