Ruvini Fernando

Ruvini Fernando has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ruvini is currently working as a Finance Project Manager at Runa since April 2022. Prior to this, from July 2020 to April 2022, they worked as a Finance Systems Manager at Banijay UK.

From March 2019 to October 2021, Ruvini served as a Finance Systems Manager at Endemol Shine Group. During their tenure, they managed and maintained the Octopus PMI Finance system, provided training and system documentation, established a PMI Helpdesk, and worked on Finance effectiveness projects.

Ruvini also worked as a Director at COVA Consulting Limited from December 2017 to March 2019, where they held a leadership role. Ruvini briefly worked as a Systems Accountant for Richmond Consulting Group in November to December 2018.

In addition, they worked as a Systems Accountant on a contract basis at Civica Digital from March to September 2018. Here, they were responsible for implementing a new invoicing system and providing support to the Finance Team.

From September 2015 to January 2018, Ruvini was a Projects & Systems Accountant at Vanquis Bank. Ruvini led a team, implemented process improvement techniques, managed Finance projects, and maintained project management documentation. Ruvini also worked as a Project Accountant at Vanquis Bank from July 2013 to August 2015.

At DFCC Bank PLC, Ruvini held various roles including Senior Project Executive from May 2010 to April 2013 and Project Executive from June 2008 to April 2010. Ruvini was involved in planning, plan implementation, financial analysis, and planning.

Further back in their career, Ruvini worked as an Accounts Executive at Cathay Pacific Airways from 2007 to 2008 and as a Management Trainee at Finlays from 2005 to 2007.

Ruvini Fernando completed their education in a chronological sequence. In 2009, they obtained their ACMA certification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. This was followed by their completion of the ACCA degree from ACCA in 2010. Continuing their education, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Wales in 2011. In 2017, they attended PRINCE2 for project management studies.
