Head Of Data Integration at Rune Labs

Gavin Philips has worked in various roles over the past 14 years. In 2006, they began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Wyoming. Two years later, they moved to the University of Colorado to become a Professional Research Assistant at Assistive Technology Partners. In 2011, they joined the University of Florida as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. In 2012, they became a W.O.C. Research Assistant at the Brain Rehabilitation Research Center of Excellence, North Florida/South Georgia VA Medical Center. In 2016, they took on a Postdoctoral Fellow role at the Institute for Cell Engineering, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Two years later, they moved to the Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering, Dept. of Bioengineering, University of Colorado Denver to become a Postdoctoral Fellow. Most recently, in 2020, they started their current role as Head of Therapy Developer Relations at Rune Labs.

Gavin Philips attended the University of Florida from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they attended the University of Wyoming from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering. Gavin also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Wyoming, which they completed in 2006 as part of the Honors Program.
