João Mendes has been working in the design field since 2006. João started as a Graphic Designer for Enchufada, then moved on to Interface Designer for East Atlantic Engineering, Lda. and Freelance Graphic Designer for Fjord. In 2016, they became a Staff Photographer for CreativeMornings and in 2012, they joined Impossible as a Senior Product Designer, Public Speaker, and Demonstrator. In 2022, they will join Rune Labs as a Senior Product Designer.
João Mendes obtained a Licentiate degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from Escola Superior de Tecnologias e Artes de Lisboa between 2001 and 2005.
