Ro'ee Gilron

Lead Neuroscientist at Rune Labs

Ro'ee Gilron is a leading neuroscientist at Rune Labs. Ro'ee was previously a postdoctoral researcher at UCSF Medical Center, where they worked with patients implanted with experimental deep brain stimulation devices to collect and analyze data in clinical and home settings. Ro'ee also developed and tested a closed loop algorithm for use with Parkinson’s disease.

Gilron began their career as a neuroscience doctoral student at Tel Aviv University, where they ran, designed, and analyzed the results of multiple fMRI studies investigating the functional properties of the mirror neuron system. Ro'ee also performed ECoG and single unit recording experiments during a clinical setting in epilepsy patients.

Ro'ee Gilron is a Ph.D. candidate in neuroscience at Tel Aviv University. Ro'ee holds a B.S. in neuroscience and a BA in psychology from Brandeis University.
