Sanjay Kumar Sekhardeo

Sanjay Kumar Sekhardeo has a diverse work experience in the mining industry, spanning over several decades. Sanjay Kumar started their career in 1992 at SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant, where they held the position of Senior Manager. During their tenure, they were responsible for various tasks related to geological mapping, core drilling, logging, sampling, ore-body modeling, and mine planning. Sanjay Kumar also played a crucial role in obtaining statutory clearances for mines, conducting environmental impact assessments, and implementing sustainable mine development plans. In 2008, they joined ArcelorMittal India Ltd as the General Manager (Geology) and remained with the company until 2014. Following that, they worked as the Deputy Director of Production at ORKEN LLP, ArcelorMittal Temirtau for a brief period in 2014. Since 2015, they have been serving as the Head of Corporate Affairs at RUNGTA MINES LIMITED.

Sanjay Kumar Sekhardeo completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi. Sanjay Kumar pursued this degree from 2011 to 2013. Prior to their MBA, Sanjay obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Sanjay Kumar completed this degree from 1990 to 1992. Before their postgraduate studies, they obtained another Master's Degree in Applied Geology from the University of Roorkee, where they studied from 1987 to 1989.
