Brian Connelly

Brian Connelly is a Staff Data Scientist at Runpod, having previously held leadership roles in data science at Ookla, where they directed initiatives that expanded market reach and improved analytics capabilities. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Michigan State University, where they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Prior to their time at Ookla, Brian served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Washington and contributed to software engineering at Intel Corporation and NITCO. Throughout their career, they have emphasized the integration of data science best practices and mentorship of cross-functional teams.
