Brooke Anderson

Dr. Anderson is a co-founder of RunThatApp.com, a company developing technology for running iOS and Android apps remotely via a browser. He also co-founded and is currently COO of CustomArray, Inc., a biotech company with technology that reduces cost of writing DNA (such as for synthetic biology) by a factor of 1000 compared to column synthesis. Prior to that, he co-founded and served in various capacities (including 2004-2010 as COO) for CombiMatrix Corp., a company that has worked in biotech and diagnostics ("CBMX" on Nasdaq). Prior to that, he co-founded and served as VP of R&D for Acacia Research Corporation, a company that has worked in money management, as an Internet incubator, and today in patent licensing ("ACTG" on Nasdaq). Dr. Anderson received a B.S.E. in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan in 1985, summa cum laude, an M.S. in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology in 1987, and a Ph.D. in computation and neural systems from the California Institute of Technology in 1993.
