Richard Kang

Richard Kang currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer at Ruppert Landscape since August 2024. Prior to this role, Richard held several positions at Republic Services from May 2013 to August 2024, including Senior Vice President of Operations, Area President, Market Vice President, Director of Operations Support, Director of Business Development, and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Richard's experience also includes serving as Director of Corporate Development & Strategy at Summit Materials from October 2010 to May 2013, and working in Mergers & Acquisitions at Evercore from March 2007 to September 2010. Earlier in Richard's career, a consultancy role was held at CGI from August 2005 to February 2007. Richard is an alumnus of the University of Virginia.
