Tammy Steiner

Tammy Steiner is an experienced professional in consumer lending and youth development. Currently serving as a Consumer Loan Officer at Rural 1st since October 2018, Tammy previously held the position of Country Home Loan Specialist and Director of Retail Operations at Farm Credit Mid-America from November 2015 to October 2018, where responsibilities included leading retail service teams across an 11-county territory and ensuring efficient loan processing. From October 2009 to November 2015, Tammy worked as an Extension Educator for 4-H Youth Development with Purdue Cooperative Extension, directing programs for approximately 550 members and 75 volunteers, focusing on leadership, citizenship, science, and healthy living. Tammy holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management from Purdue University.
