Ari Neumann has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. Starting in 2007, Ari worked as a Research Intern at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where they focused on researching federal land management policy and advocating for the organization. From 2007 to 2008, Ari worked as an Intern and later as a Research Director/Executive Assistant at Darcy Burner for Congress, where they conducted opposition research, drafted policy positions, and managed the candidate's schedule. In 2009, Ari served as a Legal Extern at US Senator Maria Cantwell's office, conducting legal and policy research and gaining a thorough understanding of Congressional rules and procedures. From 2010 to 2016, Ari worked as the Policy Director/Legislative Counsel at the Rural Community Assistance Partnership, overseeing policy development and government relations focused on improving the quality of life in rural America. Since 2016, Ari has been with the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC), starting as an Assistant Director and later becoming the Director of Community & Environmental Services. In this role, Ari grew their department staff and budget significantly, providing technical assistance and training to rural communities in Western states and Pacific territories.
Ari Neumann completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American Studies at Stanford University from 2003 to 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, Ari attended the University of Washington School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on Law.
