David Day has had a varied career in the technology and engineering industries. David began their career in 1990 as an Optical Technician and Camera Technician at Lucht/International Precision Optics, where they assisted Engineering with the implementation and monitoring of SPC Data and led a retooling effort to improve and tighten up standards on lenses. David then moved to Nestle Nutrition in 2002, where they served in various roles, including Technical Project Lead, Technical Lead, and Machine Operator. In this role they created an integrated data retrieval system that printed shift results for filling performance and sent email alerts when filling parameters were not being met, and programmed a system for document printing with complete and accurate information for the operators. In 2009 they moved to Nestl\u00e9 S.A., where they served as Technical Lead and Technical Project Lead, repairing and improving documentation of processes and records, automating information retrieval and completion, and assisting Technical Leads. In 2013 they began working at IMRIS as an Assembly Technician, where they were responsible for assembly and testing of 1.5T and 3T MRI Head and Cardiac Coils, as well as troubleshooting and repair of coils including design improvements. Finally, in 2017 they began working at Rural Computer Consultants, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they are responsible for working in Synergy, Synergy.net, WPF, C#, and XAML, a markup language for Universal Windows Platform, designing and maintaining operational software for businesses.
David Day attended Hennepin Technical College from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Computer Programming. David then attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College from 1985 to 1990, where they received a BS in Bible/Missions. In September 2014, they obtained a MRI Level II certification from the Radiation Safety Officer.
