Hamdy Amrizal

Hamdy Amrizal is a Health Data Analyst and Program Lead at Rural Doctors Network since October 2022, also serving as Acting Regional Manager and Project Officer for Regional Engagement. Previously, Hamdy worked as a Health Promotion Officer at Macular Disease Foundation Australia from July 2021 to October 2022, and as an Optometrist at Hannaford Eyewear and Specsavers Australia & New Zealand between July 2020 and March 2020. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Optometrist, Project Officer, and Community Optometrist at Brien Holden Vision Institute from September 2015 to June 2019, and as an Optometrist at Eyecare Plus Optometry from January 2014 to August 2015. Hamdy is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health (Extension) with a specialization in Epidemiology at UNSW, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry/Science (Vision Science) from the same institution.
