Frank Befera has a long and varied work history. Frank began their career in 2001 as a volunteer CEO for Orphan Relief. In 2005, they became the Regional President for the Official NASCAR Members Club. From 2007 to 2009, they served as the CEO of PDQ Engine & Machine and the CTO/New Media for Living Patriot, LLC. In 2009, they also took on the role of VP of Broadband/Cable Operations for JPI Worldwide - Rodeo TV and KQDS for Red Rock Radio. In 2012, they became the Director of IT & Corporate Golf Events for Swingtime Golf USA LLC. In 2015, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer for LSRN. Most recently, in 2021, Frank Befera became the Director for Rural Telecommunications of America (RTA).

Frank Befera attended Duluth Cathedral High School from 1984 to 1988, and Marshall School from 1984 to 1988. Frank then attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1988 to 1990.
