Marie Barry's work experience includes serving as the Director of Community Economic Development at Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Policy Aide for Wisconsin State Senator Dan Feyen from January 2017 to February 2021. Marie also worked as a Legislative Aide for Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald from July 2015 to December 2016. Their previous experience includes working as a Paid Intern at the Committee to Elect a Republican Senate and the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee in 2015. In 2014, Marie participated in a program at the University of Ghana studying Development Economics and International Development. Marie obtained their High School Diploma from Lakeside High School in 2012.

Marie completed the International Research - SBR certification, Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) - Basic certification, and the Social and Behavioral Human Subjects Research (IRB) Course certification from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in May 2020.
