Michal Szczepanek

Michal Szczepanek, CPA, currently serves as the Corporate Accounting Manager at Rush Street Interactive since May 2022. Prior to this role, Michal accumulated significant experience at KPMG US from August 2016 to May 2022, progressing from Audit Associate to Audit Manager, where responsibilities included executing audit engagements for SEC registrants and improving performance opportunities. Earlier experience includes an Accounting Intern position at Altair Advisers, where Michal handled accounts payable, receivable, and month-end financial reporting from September 2013 to March 2016, as well as serving as a Parts Manager Assistant at C & F Packing Co. from November 2012 to 2014. Michal's academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Accounting, both from DePaul University.
