Douglas Lampert, LPC, AADC, currently serves as a Clinician III at Rushford since June 2019, where responsibilities include assessments for clients facing substance abuse and mental health issues, along with individual and group counseling utilizing various therapeutic approaches. Prior to this role, Douglas was a Senior Counselor at the Root Center for Advanced Recovery from August 2016 to June 2019, providing counseling services for patients recovering from opiate addiction. As Program Director at Adelbrook Community Services from June 2013 to January 2016, Douglas managed multiple group homes and supervised a large team of direct care staff. Previous experience includes behavioral support roles at the Children's Home of Cromwell and a brief tenure as a police officer with the Granby Police Department. Douglas holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, along with a Certificate of Advanced Studies from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UMass Boston.
