Kris Davis is a partner at Russ, August & Kabat since May 2019, representing clients in complex patent and trade secret disputes in federal district courts, the Federal Circuit, the ITC, and the USPTO. Prior experience includes serving as a patent litigation attorney at Latham & Watkins from October 2013 to June 2018, where advisory roles in complex litigation matters were undertaken, and as an intellectual property attorney at McAndrews, Held & Malloy, Ltd. from May 2006 to October 2013, assisting clients with patent, copyright, and trademark rights. Educational credentials include a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law (2005-2008) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with honors, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2001-2005). Additional roles encompass an instructor position at the University of Illinois, focused on effective public speaking, and serving as president of the Illini Union Board, where leadership was exercised for a significant student organization.
