Lauren Geisser is a Partner at Russ, August & Kabat since September 2018, specializing in representing clients in M&A transactions and advising venture-backed companies on equity financings and liquidity transactions. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as an Associate Attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from September 2016 to April 2018, focusing on M&A, debt financing, and corporate governance. Lauren began their career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate from May 2015 to May 2016. In 2016, while attending USC Gould School of Law, Lauren served as a Teaching Assistant for the Secured Transactions course after excelling in that subject. Lauren holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from USC Gould School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History with a Minor in Economics from Emory University.
