Philip X. Wang is a Partner at Russ, August & Kabat since October 2016, following a role as an Associate Attorney at Latham & Watkins where Philip specialized in IP litigation from January 2014 to October 2016. Prior experience includes serving as a Patent Litigation Associate at Irell & Manella from August 2008 to December 2013, where Philip was also the firmwide listserv coordinator for legal queries and a two-time member of the Summer Committee. Early in their career, Philip gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant in the Computer Science department at Stanford University from 2002 to 2003, focusing on operating systems and automated bug detection. Philip earned a JD from Columbia Law School in 2008 and holds a BS in Computer Science and Philosophy from Stanford University, obtained in 2003.
