Kelsey Christiansen has a range of work experience. Kelsey started in 2018 as a Graphic Design & Production Member at Sports Decals. In 2017, they were a Machine Technician and Cashier at Yogeeze Frozen Yogurt, where they developed a deeper understanding of small business operations and the importance of quality service. In 2019, they were an Intern at Creighton University, where they developed inclusive programs for the student body and gained a greater sense of community. In 2020, they were a PR Assistant for Fine Arts and a Marketing and Communications Intern at Drake University, where they drafted emails, press releases, and social media posts. Kelsey was also a Social Media Manager, Writer, and Graphics Designer at Drake University Independent News (DUiN), where they developed tone and brand recognition for DUiN's Satirical Social Media's on Instagram and Twitter, and increased Instagram following by 73.2%. Additionally, they were an Intern at the Spina Bifida Association of America, where they worked with the Association via digital platforms to promote Spina Bifida awareness, advocacy, and fundraising. In 2021, they were a Corporate Responsibility & Brand Communications Intern at AbbVie, where they developed various forms of content across owned channels and platforms. Currently, they are a Social Media Strategist at Russell Herder and a Creative Associate at Bullseye Media.

Kelsey Christiansen's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Drake University, which they are currently pursuing from 2020-2022. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from McHenry County College in 2019-2020. Kelsey also attended Creighton University in 2018-2019, where they studied Economics. Her educational history began at Richmond-Burton High School, which they attended from 2014-2018. Additionally, they obtained a Standard First Aid, CPR and AED certification from the American Red Cross in 2017.
