John Wetherald

John Wetherald is an experienced professional in the landscape architecture and business development sectors. As the Director of Business Development at Russell Landscape Group since April 2014, John has led significant sales initiatives, achieving over $1 million in annual enhancement and new business sales while maintaining a customer retention rate exceeding 90%. Previously, as an Account Manager at The Brickman Group from November 2009 to March 2014, John managed over $1.3 million in annual landscape management revenue and established strong relationships with key decision-makers. Earlier in John's career, as a Landscape Architect/Project Manager at The Preston Partnership, LLC from February 2004 to November 2008, John oversaw multiple large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. John holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Georgia.
