Paula Davenport, BSN, MHA has a strong and diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Paula is currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at Russell Medical since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Centralized Sterilization at UAB Medicine from 2018 to 2022.

From 2014 to 2018, Paula held the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Princeton Hospital under Tenet Healthcare. In this role, they led a team of nurses and was responsible for managing various departments including ICUs, medical and surgical floors, OR, peri-op, post-op, sterile processing, ED, OB, and more.

Before that, they served as the Executive Nursing Director at Baptist Health System in Princeton from 2009 to 2014. Paula directed the day-to-day nursing, administration, and hospital management for a surgical division which included operating rooms, sterile processing department, one day surgery, and various nursing units.

Paula began their career at Princeton Baptist Health in 1999 as a Nurse Manager, and they served in this role until 2009.

Paula Davenport, BSN, MHA has a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of St. Francis. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Samford University. Additionally, they have additional certifications as a Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) from IAHCSMM and as a Certified Nurse Operative Room (CNOR) from AORN.
